How much will I be paid?
You will receive your full sales value less commission agreed (as standard this is 22% on the sales price). You will also receive 100% of delivery charges you have made.

Members joining during 2007 will only pay 20% commission for their first 12 months of sales!

When will I be paid?
In order to be able guarantee deliveries (or their money back) for shoppers buying from independent designers, designintro need a period in which delivery can be verified and the shopper confirm they are not returning the goods. Members are therefore paid a maximum of 30 days from the date of a successfully completed sale.

How will I be paid?
When you register you will be ato provide a name and address. Your sales income will be paid in the form of a cheque in that name sent to that address

What happens if my work is returned or damaged?
If a customer returns it as unsatisfactory that is their right as a consumer and designintro shopper. If it is damaged you will need to claim compensation from your courier - that is why it is important to use an 'insured' service that offers compensation such as Special Delivery.

What if my work doesn't sell?
Take another look at the FAQ 'How to improve my sales' and ensure you are doing everything you can. Consider amending your product price. Ensure your personal profile tells your full story. Consider submitting a 'Commentary' on your work or on a design issue to our Commentaries Section and raise your profile that way. Ask colleagues, other designers, family and friends to look at your work and offer honest, critical analysis. Take it on the chin and never stop improving your work. Good, well made, well finished and well priced work that customers want will always sell.
